Sea Dog has a proud history of supporting local rescue organizations and homeless animals—work that has even been recognized by Houston-area television stations. Over the years, the resort has provided temporary accommodations for thousands of dogs and cats while they waited for foster homes or permanent families. When a local animal shelter needed temporary housing for 60 dogs during a facility renovation, Sea Dog welcomed every one of them for 10 days at no charge. That spirit of compassion continues to inspire our longtime motto: “There’s Always Room at the Inn.”
